Volunteer and Chaperone Information

Lanesville Community Schools has the well-being and safety of our students as top priority. We welcome any family and community members to help with our students throughout various time in the year. To maintain the safety of our students, ALL volunteers and chaperones must complete a background check.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Who is required to have a Volunteer Background Check?
-All volunteers (coaches, room parents, chaperones) who are not in a paid position, must complete the Background Check.

How much is the background check?
-The cost of the background check is $23.40

How long days the process take?
-Processing time is 5-10 business days.

How often do I need a background check?
-Background checks are good for 3 years.

FOLLOW-UP DIRECTIONS:

After you have completed the online background check, you will receive two emails from KidTracks Support.

One will have the link and the other will contain your password to log in.

You will need to complete that portion in order for the background check to be complete.

THIS MUST BE COMPLETED WITHIN 10 DAYS OR THE BACKGROUND CHECK CAN CLOSE OUT AND WILL HAVE TO BE RESENT.
